Our Neighborhood Engaged (ONE) would like to thank the Marygrove students who assisted ONE community volunteers and the Detroit Alternative Work Force in the planting of 6 additional trees on McNichols road across from the campus.
A special word of thanks to Martin McNeeley who not only assisted in the transporting of trees and mulch and the digging of holes, but was also very helpful in instructing and supervising all in the proper process for planting the trees. Martin continues to support ONE as a volunteer in numerous projects related to beautification initiatives in our neighborhood.
Our work will continue in the spring!
